Wouldn't this be a great Christmas picture? Everyone is looking at the camera; everyone is smiling; everyone looks genuinely happy to be together. If only it looked like it were taken at the beginning of December (it was) rather than on October 31! But, as Daddy says, "This is life in our house." So don't be surprised if you open up our Christmas card and out pops our costume-Christmas family picture!

I think it's a brilliant Christmas picture. Any picture of four (even three) looking at the camera and smiling is worth including in the Christmas card!

Our minister told me that they tried one year to take a "formal" studio Christmas portrait with her three boys, but discovered that the posed picture didn't really portray her family as it normally is (they are very active boys). So she prefers a somewhat chaotic picture, as it's true to real life!
In other words, go with what works!
Looking at your attire, I wouldn't guess you took the picture in early December...but the decorations above the fireplace in the background give it away! Cute picture! :)
