Great Grandpa passed away this morning. We will have lots of stories to share with the boys of someone who is truly a person to emulate. We hope Evan will appreciate the legacy of the man he was named after. We will really miss him. Evan's 3 year old wisdom should be a comfort to all of us. When told of his great grandpa's passing he said, "We can't see him anymore. We can only see him in our hearts."Sunday, October 31, 2010

Boo at the Zoo
It was a wet day at the zoo, but it seems that is our destiny. (Our last two attempts at the "Big Zoo" have resulted in detours to the Aquarium and the Museum of Flight due to rain.) The rain didn't wash away our fun, though. Evan put out the fires that Elsa, oops! I mean our fire-breathing dragon, set. You can probably check Elsa's blog for more pictures. Mom's camera battery ran out of juice early in the day.

Giggles
Mom got great giggles from me after lunch. She didn't want to miss it so she recorded me before she washed off all my banana.
We rode a bus today to the docks. There were a ton of jellyfish in the bay, and we saw two really big ones right by the dock. Evan spotted a seal swimming underwater right beside us, and we dock walked until we found it again, floating on it's back. We rode the bus back to the farmers market for lunch. What a nice day!
