Family Vacation #622

Proving that they can still be spontaneous, Dad and Mom decided to take me to Leavenworth for the weekend. Two hours later we were in the car! I think this is reminiscent of their "Let's-go-to-Paris (or Munich, or Liectenstein)-" weekends. Whatever it was, we had fun! Mom and Dad went snowshoeing, and I got to stay in the warm condo and play with Grandma and Grandpa! They also introduced Daddy and me to a local favorite--Gustav's!

Snowshoe Weekend!

We celebrated MLK Day and Mommy's birthday by going on a snowshoe weekend at a nearby national park with Aunt Katy, Uncle Joe, and Elsa. The weather was perfect and the snow was plentiful! Here I am peeking out of my backpack. My other favorite pictures are below.

What a pretty family picture! I'm the one in the pack.

The River Crossing... Daddy was extra careful with me! If you're name is Grandma R, Mommy is going to send you a picture of both of your babies crossing!

Daddy pushed Aunt Katy on her saucer. Is that fair?!

Mommy and Aunt Katy with me and Elsa.

Daddy and Uncle Joe made two sled runs.

Elsa got in on the action, too! If you double click on the picture, you'll see that she's waving!

On Day 3, Elsa was all bundled up.

At the end of the day, Elsa and I played on the hotel bed. What a fun trip! Let's do it again next year!

I'm a hiking fool!

Mommy and Daddy took a big trip to REI this weekend to pick up a baby carrier for me. We took a test ride at our favorite wildlife refuge the same day! I'm riding in style! I can't wait to go snowshoeing with Aunt Katy, Uncle Joe, and Elsa next weekend!

Fun With Family

I finally got to meet my East Coast family! Oma and Grandpa gave me lots of love and attention.
I had lots of fun with Uncle Keith and (not pictured) Aunt Amanda. Aunt Amanda made me a beautiful quilt. I'll post a picture of it soon!

Family Planning

Mommy and Daddy were having a conversation this evening while I was feasting:

Mommy: "We could have 6 children!"
Daddy: "No."
Mommy: "Oh, so we could have 10 children!?"
Daddy: "Nope."
Mommy: "Could we have four?"
Daddy: "We could but we'd have to get a minivan."
Mommy: "Oh no, we can't do that!"

My First Christmas

Mommy helped me open my stocking.

Elsa let me ride in the brand new radio flyer she got from Mom and Dad.

Daddy played with Elsa and me before bed.

I had to take a bath in Great Grandpa's sink after a very messy diaper incident!

After all that excitement, I'm beat!
