My First Visit With Santa

Santa paid a visit to the kids at mommy's clinic's Christmas party today. I didn't wake up for his visit, but I dreamed I was telling him what I want.

Sleeping Beauty

I am sleeping, so mommy is helping me write this. If I had my way, I would have titled this "Sleeping Handsome".

After an evening of shopping for my Christmas presents, Mommy & Daddy (I mean Santa & Mrs. Claus) noticed a car swerving on the highway near the Army base. As luck would have it, the driver of the car tried to get onto the base. Mommy & Daddy informed the gate guard of the driver's actions and they pulled him over. The base Military Police were able to investigate. It is great to see those bad people get caught.

To reward them for their efforts, I gave Daddy my first 'high-five' and smiled a great deal at Mommy this morning!

To My Adoring Fans...

I'm so sorry I haven't posted on my blog for so long! Since my last post, I have been very busy learning new things! I am holding my head up a little higher when I do tummy time; I am trying to grasp at things in front of me (and sometimes I succeed); I'm laughing; and entertaining my parents with new sounds!

Visiting Friends

Elsa and Abby put their baby in my carseat and covered her with my blanket all by themselves!

Thanksgiving Fun

Grandpa sang to me and made me smile.

And Elsa introduced me to all her friends. What a great weekend!

Card Shark

Grandma came to take care of me this week while Mommy went back to work. We had a lot of fun playing, singing, and going on walks! Thanks, Grandma!

More Fun With Oma

We visited a farm and saw chickens, turkeys, peacocks, rabbits, a pig, and some very friendly goats and sheep!

I found a very comfortable spot to sleep.

Visit from Oma

I had a very fun weekend spending time with my Oma! She spoiled me and loved on me just like a grandma is supposed to! I also got to meet my Great Uncle Ashley, who lives nearby. More pictures to follow!

Today Mom and Dad tried to take an imprint of my feet. Silly parents! Of course I won't stay still for that!Mommy also learned what happens if she doesn't feed me right away!

I still won't look at myself in a big mirror, but in the past three days I've started to enjoy looking into my small mirror, especially when Mommy looks into it with me. Boy, am I cute!

Tummy Time

Like many babies, I'm not a big fan of tummy time. I got tired of voicing my distaste for the activity, and found a new way to completely disengage--I fall asleep!

Sunny Seaside (well, not really)

We went on our first family vacation this week. This is my first walk at the Oregon Coast. So beautiful! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for assisting with the accommodations!

It's hard to see all the wind and rain in this picture, but it was there! Here I am incognito. Mommy put me in my carrier under Daddy's jacket, but I still got covered in sand!
