Caught!

I'm moving around a lot more. I can scoot and roll to almost anywhere I want to go. Now I'm even starting to try to climb up on things!

These are my mischevious smiles. Yesterday I rolled and scooted to the magazine rack. Shortly after this picture was taken, I had all of the magazines out on the floor.I proved that I am stronger than mommy thinks by opening the coffee table doors, which mom thought were ALREADY baby-proof because she has to pull hard to get them open. I got what I wanted out of there, too!

Memorial Day Fun

Oma and Grandpa came to visit last weekend. We took them to Leavenworth, which was beautiful, as always. Mom and Dad have added Leavenworth to their list of places they'd like to live in when they finally settle down.
Even during our fun time together, we want to pause and remember all of the men and women in uniform who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and those who are currently serving overseas, as well as their families. We say a prayer especially for our dear friends Emily, Val, and Bob, who are in Iraq, Afghanistan, and on the Nimitz, respectively.

Chit Chat

Mommy, Daddy and Oma realized a secret that I've been hiding for months: I have been talking about them behind their back. Unfortunately, I let my secret slip this weekend when I repeated "Uh Oh" after Daddy said it. I tried to cover up my secret by clenching my lips together, but that confirmed their suspiscions. Yesterday, Daddy heard me say "Momma" as he passed me to her. I'm not sure what I'll say next, so stay tuned...

Up Close and Personal

I like looking really close at the mirror...
... and at the camera!

Beating the Heat

Mommy and Daddy and I beat the heat this weekend by going to the park.

I enjoyed the swing so much I was clapping!

Go M's!

We went to a Mariners game with our friends, Emily and Jeff. The team played well and even won! We must have been their good luck charms.

Cheering for the home team is exhausting! I had to take a break during the last two innings!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mommy and Daddy's Turn: We've always appreciated our mom's, but since we've become parents, we've come to appreciate our mothers even more. We wish them both a very happy Mother's Day. We love you!
I got to play with Elsa at Grandma and Grandpa's house this weekend. She's a lot of fun!

Growing

Mommy took this picture to show Oma how big I am in my towel, but she liked it so much she thought everyone might like to see it. It's not just mommy who thinks I'm getting big. The scales prove it! I grew 3 1/2 inches and gained 3 pounds in just six weeks!
