First Catch!

It's that time of year again--when crabs loom large in the minds of our family, and the the next catch is never far away.

First crabbing outing of the season.  For us, at least.  Grandma and Grandpa had already been out this week.  Evan even got to drive the boat!

Great weather!  Can you tell it was sunny?

Singing with Grandpa.

Clam chowder on the beach.  Ask Dad how good Grandma's clam chowder is.

All that crabbing is exhausting!  This is how we slept for most of the night.

Looks like you guys had even nicer weather than we did. I see a kayakable sea in the background. It was windy the whole time we were there. Too bad we missed you by a day!

Mom and I kayaked on Saturday. I told the boys we'd take them out on Sunday AM, but it was too rough. Luckily, they were so busy with other things I don't think they noticed.

What fun! My mama and papa said they miss crabbing with friends when they lived in Bellingham. That's awesome you can share that with your parents and grandparents!! :) Holden & Karen P.S. Your grandma's clam chowder sounds amazing too!
