Dad is home--a month early! And although we knew he was coming home this weekend, we were surprised to see him when we woke up this morning since he was originally scheduled to come home tonight. Mom is good at keeping secrets. Though it's helpful that she only had to keep this one for a few hours. We made the most of our extra day with him and went to a dragon boat festival, playground, and farmer's market.
It wasn't all play. After mowing the lawn, I helped Dad try to jump his car. He's been gone so long the battery is dead.
Dad didn't get any alone-time today, but we think he's had enough of that the past couple months.

What a SWEET reunion! I can only imagine how excited you and the boys were. I know that Holden follows Jim around if he's only been gone a day. Oh, and great face paint on Evan. Holden is now starting to really like Spiderman too!! :) Rachel
I'll bet Adam is exhausted after a day with no alone time... I'm sure there was high energy in your household - what a great surprise. Welcome home, Adam!
