Overheard by Nathan

Evan asked Mommy how Jesus could walk on water. Mommy did a good job with her explanation and ended by telling Evan that we can do amazing things if we ask Jesus to help us. Evan answered, "I want Jesus to get me a computer."

We had such a nice visit with Aunt Mary, who came all the way out from Washington, DC, just to see us! Well, us and the rest of the family and to go on a fun road trip across the country with some friends. There was a little bit of seriousness...
... and some silliness. Well, anyone who knows Aunt Mary knows there was lots of silliness! We already miss her!

Overall Twins

Crabs!! Oh, and the 4th of July.

4th of July weekend means the start of the crab season around here. We take that very seriously! Headed out to set the pots.

Playdough Cookies

We made playdough cookies today. Nathan may have taken it a little too seriously as you can see by the playdough in his mouth. We even decorated our cookies... with salt and parmesan cheese. We had them almost all decorated before Mom even knew what we were doing!

Evan (as a boy and his mom pass us while walking): "He's wearing his fireman's coat and boots." (Pause.) "I'm off duty today."

A Week Without the Parents

Mom and Dad had to work in different states this week. (Mom in DC, Dad in Utah.) So we had a fun-filled week with Grandma and Grandpa!

Every day is a good day on the beach!

Elsa came to play with us. We rode bikes, swam in the hot tub, visited the alpacas, visited baby goats up the street, played on the beach, and made smores! What a busy day!
