Family Hike

Ahhh, the great outdoors! We hiked up the Snow Lakes trail. We didn't go all the way to the lakes, but the views were still amazing!

The views were great, but Dad's hat and glasses are fun to play with, too!

We are all happiest outdoors.

Evan hiked up the switchbacks for an hour. In fact, he ran a lot of the trail. But that's a lot for those 3-year old legs to handle, especially as we approached lunch time and nap time.

Times like this refresh the soul.

Giggles

Mom got great giggles from me after lunch. She didn't want to miss it so she recorded me before she washed off all my banana.

We rode a bus today to the docks. There were a ton of jellyfish in the bay, and we saw two really big ones right by the dock. Evan spotted a seal swimming underwater right beside us, and we dock walked until we found it again, floating on it's back. We rode the bus back to the farmers market for lunch. What a nice day!

It's Party Time!

The cake is nice, but the best part was Mom finally letting me eat the ice cream I picked out all by myself for my birthday!

The two birthday boys. Cameron's birthday is the day after mine!

Only Aunt Katy was clever enough to get all six of the big kids playing together in one picture. We stole this shamelessly from Elsa's blog.

Three of the four littlest guests. Lauren was not so sure about these two boys checking out her seat, but Cullen and Nathan thought it was a great toy.

These trucks were a hit! We can completely disassemble and reassemble them.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Evan!

Our boy is three years old!

Before you think that Mom and Dad are lax parents for letting me eat cake, I must tell you that Evan shared his cake with me when Mom wasn't paying attention.
